Seymour Tubis
This 20th century monotype entitled Garden, is by Santa Fe artist Seymour Tubis (1919-1993). Tubis studied at the Art Students League with Hans Hofmann (1946-1949). He exhibited in Paris in 1950 and won praise from Georges Braque. He was Chair of the Fine Art Department at the Institute of American Indian Arts in Santa Fe (1963-1980).

Signed and titled on the bottom. Excellent vintage condition. Framed in a contemporary wood frame with a hammered silver face and black edges with a double black mat behind conservation clear glass.
